The President's Corner

I hope all have enjoyed the Summer months and now that Labor Day has past we look toward the Fall and cooler weather.

Many of our members are heading to Atlanta, GA this month for the Annual International Conference. For those of you who are attending, travel safely and bring back information that you can share with those of us who are not going.

Also, don’t forget the General Chapter Meeting on 09/19/08.  Our speaker will be P. E. Mamoon Alyah from LWG Consulting who will be speaking on Questionable Appliance Fires and Automobile Electrical Fires.  Try to attend as this will be a very informative presentation for those who handle these types of claims. See the website for time and location.

We encourage Law Enforcement personnel to attend our General Meetings and appreciate their involvement in the meetings.  We hope to draw more Law Enforcement members into the Chapter as time goes on. One never knows what surprise we might have for a Law Enforcement member at a General Meeting who did not attend our 2007 Annual Seminar.

Lastly, please watch for email communications from us through Constant Contacts.  This is a service that our Chapter pays for in order to communicate more easily with the membership.  This source is safe to open and read communications that come through it.
